Congrats ! Now to trade them both in immediately for a 96 month loan on a brand new M car. It’s the American way ™

I can’t wait to get an M5 at the low price of 2000 a month for 96 months!

I have the letter from my credit union but haven’t bothered to get the title on the Mazda5 yet. I paid it off about a year and a half ago...

Personally, I’d go get the title. They’ve also mailed me the titles, so that makes it easy.

South Carolina and North Carolina should be merged into one state

It’s just one of those hundreds of things I need to get around to doing, but since I don’t plan on getting rid of the car at any time I figure that there’s no harm in waiting.

How...? What...? In my state, it’s the law that the title has to be mailed to you within 30 days of satisfaction.

Weird that SC puts “new” or “used” on the title. Just seems like a strange thing.

I don’t have a picture of my GA title, but I thought they had put that on there. I do have a picture of my Texas title, and it’s not on there. Maybe it is just SC>

Pfft go whole hog - 120 months and your payment will only be 1700 a month

I never bothered to send the letter from the credit union to the state. It’s still sitting in my desk, or perhaps in the bucket that contains a lot of the stuff that was in my desk drawer before I attempted to “clean”...

Oh, so the CU doesn’t hold the title? Even weirder

I really don't know, TBH. After 45 years in California I was only used to doing things one way, and never bothered to figure out how they do it here.
